Margaret Gierhart, a South Carolina native, cherishes the memories of her mother\u2019s morning beauty routine of rollers and rouge. \u00a0From a very early age she saw the art in how makeup was applied as well as the power it held in transforming one\u2019s confidence.<\/p>\n

As a former runway, print & commercial model, it became evident to her that working in the art of makeup was the career path she wanted. Armed with a degree in psychology and a background in the modeling world, Margaret began her career as a freelance artist with Bobbi Brown cosmetic. She quickly went on to become the resident artist at Saks Fifth Avenue in Charleston, SC., where she trained under and worked with some of the world\u2019s top makeup artists.<\/p>\n

After many years in retail and feeling the need to spread her artistic wings, she made the transition back into the world of freelance makeup. Margaret has traveled as an artist and educator for such companies as Laura Mercier, NARS, Lanc\u00f4me, Bobbi Brown and Moore Makeup.<\/p>\n

She maintains a level of the highest quality artistry through continual training to ensure her clients have the ultimate makeup experience. Her passion for makeup is driven by her desire to give clients a sense of confidence that comes from knowing you look your absolute best!<\/p>\n

In addition to her freelance work, Margaret has partnered with Leslie Moore of Moore Makeup<\/a> to form Moore Makuep Experience, LLC.<\/a> The company provides on-site beauty education in the form of seminars, corporate imaging, as well as individual consultation and personal shopping.
